Strawberry, luscious luscious strawberries.Who doesn’t love strawberry season? And I’ve got all the best low carb and keto strawberry recipes right here. Dig in!

This post has been updated to include all my best keto strawberry recipes. I love strawberries and in the past few years, I’ve created a lot of great new recipes. So dig in, my keto friends and let’s celebrate strawberry season.

It happens like clockwork every year. The weather begins to warm up, however imperceptibly, and I start dreaming of fresh local strawberries so I can get cracking on low carb strawberry recipes.

It doesn’t matter where I live or what’s going on in my life, I start stalking the U-Pick websites, eagerly waiting to see when they’re ready for picking. I know I have a few months yet but I’ve already researched when Oregon strawberries will be in season and you can be sure I will be researching the best local farms to take the kids to for some good old fashioned strawberry picking.

And in the meantime, I will buy a quart or two of California berries, just to help me survive the long, harsh non-berry season!

Can you have strawberries on a keto diet?

Chances are you love those sweet red heart-shaped fruits as much as I do. We can continue to thank our lucky stars that strawberries are both low carb and high fiber.

Strawberries are one of the best fruits to enjoy on a keto diet. A half cup serving of strawberries halves has only 6g total carbs and 2g of fiber. They’re also high in Vitamin C, manganese, and floats.

But beyond the health benefits, they make some of the BEST low carb dessert recipes. Tasty and sweet, with an enticing pink hue.

They can be pretty great in some savoury recipes too. I rounded up the best low carb and keto strawberry recipes I could find for your reading, cooking and eating pleasure.

These all look delicious! Can I make a 2 crust strawberry rhubarb pie using this crust recipe? Should I precook the filling a bit before I assemble it to keep the top crust from overcooking?

Made your recipe for Strawberry Galette. It looks delicious. I used almond butter. I can’t wait for dessert tonight!
I’m also making your asparagus dish with cheese and bacon. Third time for this great dish. It’s so dependent on the quality of the produce. I wanted to post you a picture, but was unable to paste it in the comment section 🙁

Is strawberry jam possible on keto? I made some and substituted Swerve granular for regular sugar and that was delicious when hot, but a definite no go when cooled. I figure if anyone can make that happen it you Carolyn!

Probably a silly question, but my daughter is wondering (she looks through your recipes and watches your videos ALL the time ;-). In the main pic, what is the recipe in the middle, right picture? Kind of looks like the whoopie pies, but I’m not sure!

What, no strawberry pie with gelatin strawberry glaze with a layer of whipped cream on top? Say, on your coconut macadamia nut butter crust from your cheesecake recipe? All Day I’ve Been Dreaming About Creating THAT Recipe! Wouldn’t that combination of flavors be divine?

I adore your website, Carolyn. Truly!
